Bullying in Malaysia

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxGQuwbpCzw&t=18s

We have been very lucky when we started our social enterprise journey, we talked to Dr. Goh Chee Leong about the issue of bullying in Malaysia. Our story is a personal one, in which one of our co-founder was a target of being bullied in her schooling years. Bullying is not an easy topic to talk about and for most parents, they don't even know how to start the conversation and ways to help their chilldren. Realizing how sensitive this topic can get, we choose to focus on esteem building aspect of children's growing years because both the bullied and the one being bullied are struggling with confidence issue which resulted in them being in that situation in the first place.  We want conversation to take place. Share with us your stories.

In this first series of conversation, as part of CreaTee's BE Initiative we have Dr. Goh Chee Leong who talks about bullying in Malaysia. As a social enterprise, CreaTee believe in the philosophy that creative arts build children's esteem, boost confidence and also their emotional and mental intelligence, which lack of it is the root of such issues like bullying.
